Research shows that people who predominantly express positive emotions are often physically and emotionally healthier than people who have negative attitudes.
Positive emotions would be: love, joy, gratitude, compassion, appreciation…
Negative emotions would be: anger, resentment, blame, shame, guilt …
Frankly, I don’t think anyone deliberately sets out to be a negative, angry person. But somehow life takes over and that missed promotion or disappointment in love can create a slow burn of anger or resentment that can linger for weeks, months, or even years – robbing you of joy and self confidence. Even the slow driver in the fast lane or the person with 20 items in the express check out can get in the way of experiencing happiness on a moment by moment basis. And as silly as it sounds, these every day annoyances and inconveniences can ruin your day – if you let them. And that happens to lot of us – every day!
If you hold a thought for 17 seconds or more, whatever is on that vibrational frequency will come back to you… like attracts like … thoughts attract thoughts. Your thoughts are vibrational energy and will attract more of the same. Positive or negative, whether you want them to or not. This is often referred to as the Law of Attraction.
But here’s the kicker: it’s the emotion behind the thought that increases the intensity of what you experience. Your vibrational energy or the emotion behind the thought, is like putting the pedal to the metal and going full throttle. Do you really want that crazy driver or snarky comment by a co-worker to ruin your day? Or former lover to deter your chances of real love? Or bad boss to prevent you from going after your ideal job?
The more you obsess about how somebody did you wrong, the more roadblocks you’ll encounter going forward.
Want to shift that pattern quickly? It’s not hard – in fact, it’s amazingly simple. So simple that you’ll say this is crazy:
Think happy thoughts. Talk happy talk. (of course, it has to be authentic and not sarcastic, or you’ll get more of the sarcastic vibes back at you…)

Talk about things you’d like to do.

First of all it was great seeing you again. I need this to remember to start thinking positive again. I use to think I could over come anything. I have been very negative the last few years about life and business.
